Living like this, is a full-time business

I love weeds its hilarious, but I forgot how season 1 gets to me.  I lost my dad in 94’ but there are some days it hurts so bad it feels like I just lost him.  When the youngest is watching the family videos of his dad I just can’t help but get choked up.

The holidays are always the hardest.  His bday is always right around thanksgiving.  I remember one year we threw him a surprise party and he had so many friends our entire 3 story house was packed.  Everyone wanted to be around my dad he just made everyone feel good.

I remember him eating all that food on thanksgiving, stuffing himself and then falling asleep on the couch snoring so loud.  It prolly sounds crazy, but when I went to bed and could hear him snoring in the next room I always felt safe, because as long as dad was in the house nothing bad could ever happen to me.

I remember when I was around 9 I saw Fire in the Sky about the aliens and it scared the CRAP out of me and I couldn’t sleep.  So dad came to my room, tucked me in and warmly told me not to worry, “because there’s no aliens, that guy just went on a drinking bender for a few days and had to come up with a good story for his wife when he got back.”  lol he always knew just what to say

Then on christmas we’d put out cookies and he’d be santa claus and eat them all and leave a note thanking us.  The next morning he’d be just as excited to open the presents.  He’d videotape Kelli and me opening them all.  Then he’d be just as excited as us to play with the new toys because he was just a big kid.  After we got the sega genesis he couldn’t wait to tuck us in, because as soon as we did he’d sneak down and we’d hear the “SEGA” turn on lol

To this day he’s still the coolest person I’ve ever known.  I just hope I’m doing right by him..

Friday night i saw weeman at the ave, then went to the kodiak where a giant girl slapped my friend and screamed “he said i smelled like macaroni & cheese and chicken grease!” wtf? his reply “that was 4 months ago get over it” hahaha what?

Saturday night I cleaned my sister’s entire apt for jerycks party and bought the food because she was too ADD. Then did some crazy drinking games followed by mary giving a lap dance to an empty chair. Then when i got home a momma and baby moose went after my dog, while I ran into the yard like a crazy, screaming and waving a plastic chair, while the moose just looked at me like “wtf” Didn’t really think that one out, but little bear is ok. 

Then last night i forgot my drivers license on my desk, got pulled over by a cop for not signaling or recognizing a stop sign twice, and turning from the wrong lane and having an expired insurance card, and all he gave me was a fix it ticket for my insurance and teased me about having so many purses (which may have had some contraband in it), now I LOVE COPS. 

And today i played nurse to mom. WHEW need a vacation from my weekend
